Common questions

Small clarifications.

Is MySizeIs free to use?+

Yes, completely free. No signup, no premium tier, no upsell. All converters are available instantly without creating an account. MySizeIs is supported by non-intrusive ads that never block the tools you came to use.

Do I need to create an account?+

No. MySizeIs has no accounts, no login, no registration. Just open the converter you need and use it immediately. We believe tools should work for you without asking for anything in return.

Why don\'t shoe sizes match across countries?+

Different countries developed their sizing systems independently. The US and UK use the barleycorn system (one-third inch increments) but with different starting points. The EU uses the Paris point (two-thirds of a centimeter). Japan uses centimeters directly. These different base units create the mismatches that make international shopping confusing.

Which sizing system is most accurate?+

The Mondopoint system (used in Japan and for military and safety footwear) is the most precise because it measures foot length in millimeters. For everyday use, measuring your foot in centimeters and converting gives the best results across all systems.

Do brands really size differently?+

Yes, significantly. Italian brands like Diesel and Versace often run smaller. Nike tends to run small in some models. New Balance tends to run true to size. Japanese lingerie cups run one to two sizes smaller than US equivalents. MySizeIs includes brand-fit notes on every converter to help you adjust for these differences.

Can I use MySizeIs offline?+

Once a page loads, the converters work without an internet connection since all calculations happen in your browser. You can bookmark any converter for quick access anytime.
